"I have always been motivated by my fascination for visual storytelling. I am intrigued by the stories we can tell each other without the need for words. Whether this be through our clothes, our decor, or other visual arts. The discovery and creation of underlying narratives through the medium of images and design is what drives me."
With my qualification in Fashion Design and experience in fashion retail and interior decorating, I started my career in the film industry as a Wardrobe Stylist Assistant in 2002. My skill as a talented clothing stylist was quickly recognised and I started working as a Wardrobe Stylist within the same year, and as an Art Director from 2005 onwards.
I easily function in the dual role of a Wardrobe Stylist/Art Director as I have already done for a number of productions in the past. Due to my invaluable and extensive experience, I am able to greatly contribute to the production’s cost-saving measures while also delivering high-quality work, spot-on styling as per the brief and innovative, beautiful sets.
In addition to my versatile creativity and hard working ethic, my strengths are that I can accurately interpret the brief given to me, stay within budget and with the relationships that I have built up amongst my large network of contacts over the years, able to quickly and economically source what is required to deliver the director’s
vision on time and in great style.
I believe in being an inspirational team leader and clearly communicating the vision and direction to my team. I particularly shine with my problem-solving hat on and always ready for a challenge. My ability to get things done within a short period of time is second to none. I am a highly creative, fun-loving person who is very passionate about my job
Notable productions include multiple recognized international Nivea and Glo (Nigeria) commercials.
